Dr Phil Larkin is a comprehensive general ophthalmologist who has extensive experience in various subspecialties including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, medical retina, refractive and cataract surgery. He graduated with his MBBS from Adelaide University in 1988 and completed his RANZCO fellowship in 1994.

Dr Larkin undertook his basic training in ophthalmology in Adelaide before completing his advanced training in Perth. He was then taken under the wings of Professor Graham Barrett for cataract training and Professor Ian Constable for vitreoretinal surgery training. He has been a Foundation Member of the Australasian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons since 1997.

Dr Larkin is an experienced surgeon with accreditation at Barton Private Hospital in Canberra, as well as public & private hospitals in Bega and Batemans Bay.

Dr Larkin is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care in the Canberra area where he lives with his family. Having spent the last 23 years running busy practices in Ulladulla, Batemans Bay and Pambula, he will continue to visit the South Coast while his Canberra practice builds.
