Testimonials from our clients
Gina Russell NSW
I cannot thank enough all the wonderful staff and my fabulous surgeon Dr Kerrie Meades. From the initial consultation I knew I was in safe hands. All the staff were so friendly and thorough in their explanations, treating me like a VIP client.
On the day of my procedure I felt nervous and a little worried, staff member Antoinette (my guardian angel) was there the whole time to put my mind at ease, administer all the necessary drugs and even hold my hand throughout the procedure.
After wearing glasses half my life, being able to see the clock immediately after the procedure literally bought tears to my eyes and not from pain but joy! The procedure has really changed my life, my only regret is not having it done sooner.

It's just one day after the procedure and I really want to say a huge thank you to all of you. Some of you I don't even know your names, but everyone made me feel so comfortable yesterday, even though I've never been so scared in my life - and that includes dentist visits and having four children!! You were all lovely, very reassuring and so caring afterwards, while I waited for my husband to finish work and collect me. I so much appreciated everything you all did.
And THEN .... wow! Wendy asked me what the time was after the procedure and I had to do a double-take, I could actually see the time!! To see such a difference so quickly was really unexpected. Yes, it the procedure was a tad uncomfortable, but nowhere near as bad as I'd worked it up to be in my head! And afterwards was fairly OK too, especially once I got to bed and could close my eyes and relax properly. I had a bit of "watery eye" for a little bit before I got home, but nothing really.
Then this morning, I woke up to a whole new world - I cannot believe the difference - you tell me now my vision (both short and long) is better than perfect and the way I'm experiencing the world, I can believe it!! Thank you again all of you - Kerrie, for the marvellous job you've done and the awesome way you carried out the procedure - you took away all my fears and I am so grateful to you; to Wendy for being so reassuring beforehand and just being there afterwards and the young lady (I'm afraid I either don't know your name or I've had a senior moment and forgotten it) who looked after us all before the procedure and who gave me the great news about "better than perfect" this morning - you have been just marvellous throughout. You must get bored saying the same things over and over again, but you manage to inject some warmth into that and I definitely needed that, being the scaredy-cat I am!
All in all, I can't tell you how pleased I am that I plucked up the courage and went through with this. I should have done it years ago! I never expected such amazing results not for a moment and I'm over the moon - you have all been such a blessing to me. Thank you so so much :-)
God bless you all and thanks again. See you next week!

I
had laser eye surgery approximately 3 years ago now, and have been
extremely happy with the results. It was one of the best things
I have and could ever do for myself in terms of health and well-being.
I was previously a wearer of disposable contact lenses for about
7 years prior to surgery, previously short-sighted with an approximate
prescription of - 3.5. Though contacts are good, I can't believe
I didn't get the surgery done earlier. My vision after the surgery
was considerably better than with contacts previously. My vision
now is still perfect, and I have no troubles whatsoever. It was
definitely worth the money, I would probably spend twice the money
for the results I have received.
The surgery itself was very stress-free, and painless. The clinics
and staff were amazing. My surgeon, Dr. Kerrie Meades, was noticeably
very experienced, with very good patient care and concern. She told
me everything up front about the surgery, and there were no surprises.
The actual procedure only took about 25 minutes for both eyes, with
little discomfort. I recommend trying to books an appointment in
the afternoon, as I was able to go straight home, and pretty much,
straight to bed for the day. I woke in the morning and had great
vision. I was amazed and visibly happy. My parents helped drive
me to the surgery for my day-after check up. When I got there Dr.
Meades checked my eyes, and I had better than 20/20 vision. I was
able to drive myself home after the check up, and it's been great
ever since, as if I never had poor vision. Care for my eyes post-surgery
was very simple with maintenance of various eye-drops for a few
weeks.
Now I can play all my sports with so much more ease. I lead a very
active lifestyle playing indoor soccer, tennis, football, and squash
on a regular basis, and it's so much better with perfect vision,
and not having to worry about contact lenses. The greatest improvement
has been for water-sports and going to the beach and surf. I can
swim with perfect vision, something that was much more difficult
and risky with contact lenses.
I thank Dr. Kerrie Meades and personalEYES again for changing my life for the best.

The night I got my sight
Walk through the door
Carpeted floor
Fish in tank
Nervously wait
Eyes get tested
What am I blessed with
Short sighted I am
Reasonably calm
A diopter or two
Nothing we can’t do
“What’s that you say?”
“We can do it today!”
Sands of the Sahara
Signing of forms
The afternoon draws closer
The reality dawns
Valium swallowed
Don’t know if this working
Laser starts up
What is that smoking?
“This is it Dan.”
OK Dan
Now hold Julie’s hand
Holding real tight
Just a little fright
The voice so soothing
Her movements assuring
Comfortably numb
I am told we are done
Flys eyes I go home with
Eye drops my salvation
Eight hours slept through
I am as excited as you
Roll out of my bed
A groggy head
There is no pain
“I CAN SEE AGAIN”
