Snellen Chart: Online Eye Test

When was the last time you had your eyes tested?

If you’re anything like most people, it can be hard to find the time to find a nearby optometrist and book an appointment – especially if you work full-time.

It’s a problem that’s caused many clients to allow their eye problems to develop further than they should have, and we wanted to find a simple solution. So we’re developing an online eye test, which you can use from any desktop computer at a time that suits you.

Our online Snellen chart is like the one you would have seen at your local eye doctor, and will allow you to keep track of changes in your vision. You should use it regularly in between eye appointments, especially if you have any suspicions that your eyesight is deteriorating.

But to improve this service, we need your feedback! If you think the online eye test might be useful for you and other Australians, then give it a try and tell us what you think.

Most importantly, do remember that this eye test shouldn’t replace your optometrist. It simply serves as a handy tool so that you can be alerted to any changes in your sight since your last visit. It’s still imperative to have your eyes checked every two years, and this is completely free under Medicare.

You’re invited to be one of the very first users of our Snellen chart. See what your eyesight is really like, and you can also share it on Facebook to compare with your friends. We would love to hear your feedback on the program so that it’s an even better service for you!

Is your sight what it used to be? Try our online eye test!
