Dr Tess Huynh
Refractive, Corneal & Cataract Surgeon

Dr Tess Huynh is an ophthalmic surgeon specialising in cataract, refractive, corneal and external eye diseases.
Dr Huynh completed her general ophthalmic training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. She was then granted the Corneal and Refractive Fellowship with the Corneal Unit at the Centre for Eye Research Australia. She completed her sub-specialty training in 2005.
Dr Huynh has lectured extensively in Australia and the Asia Pacific, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam. Her experience and involvement in refractive intraocular lens studies and clinical trials has led to invitations to speak and teach on expert panels and certification courses at national and international conferences.
Dr Huynh’s passion for the less privileged has seen her work in both the Philippines and Vietnam. She has been awarded the Pharmacia Grant in conjunction with an honourary position at the Royal Children’s Hospital International Charity Organisation for her work at the National Paediatric Hospital, Hanoi.
